This is the web site of Team Max 1071, a FIRST^® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics team founded at Wolcott High School, in Wolcott, Connecticut in 2003. We have continued to go strong since then, and we hope to show you all our progress!

The FIRST^® Robotics Competition is an international high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of students build robots that can compete in a different game challenge each year.

Our team’s goal is to inspire students to both pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), respect the importance of Science and Technology in our world, and prepare them for their future endeavors. Our focal point in reaching this goal is the construction of a competition robot. The team also puts a strong emphasis on community outreach activities and charity. This program brings students, teachers, and industrial mentors together in the spirit of partnership! Please enjoy your time on our site and feel free to explore everything we have to offer.
